The T-Mobile Shadow II Surfaces

I've run into some information on a new device for a top US wireless network operator. According to a post at Phonescoop, FCC documents revealed that the T-Mobile Shadow II Smartphone is being examined in preparation to being released. Let us look at the details on this upcoming T-Mobile Wireless network Smartphone.

The T-Mobile Shadow II Smartphone is the second generation device of the original T-Mobile Shadow. The first T-Mobile Shadow Smartphone was considered a good smartphone for young professionals. However, the basic info on the this new Smartphone indicates that it will be an improved version of the original.

The upcoming T-Mobile Shadow II Smartphone offers a similar design to the first Shadow. It features a slider design with a spinning scroll wheel and a slide-out 20-key text keyboard. However, the T-Mobile Shadow II Smartphone sports a rounded design that is absent on the original T-Mobile Wireless network device.

The new T-Mobile Shadow II Smartphone also promises to have a faster processor and a Windows Mobile 6.1 OS. This addition is a solution to one of the glaring weaknesses of the original T-Mobile Shadow Smartphone. The faster processor and new OS ensures that the T-Mobile Shadow II Smartphone will not perform sluggishly when numerous apps are in use.

As expected from a T-Mobile Wireless network Smartphone, the T-Mobile Shadow II Smartphone offers a wide selection of features. The T-Mobile Shadow II Smartphone carries a 2-megapixel camera similar to the original Shadow. This new Smartphone also sports a vibrant and large 2.6-inch, nontouch QVGA display. Other features mentioned for the upcoming T-Mobile Shadow II Smartphone include Wi-Fi, microSD memory card slot, and quad-band GSM/EDGE radios.

The FCC documents posted on the web also indicated that the T-Mobile Shadow II Smartphone might support T-Mobile's UMA-based Unlimited HotSpot Calling service. The documents report that the T-Mobile Shadow II Smartphone have separate battery life times for GSM and UMA.

That's it for this post on this new Smartphone. Pricing and availability info on the T-Mobile Shadow II Smartphone has not been released so tune in to this blog for the updates.
