The New LG Invision from AT&T

Here's a new mobile phone for AT&T mobile TV fans. The wireless network provider has just announced the arrival of the LG Invision, a new mobile TV-focused handset.

The new LG Invision is a multimedia cellphone that has been designed for user who want to watch mobile TV. In this case it's made for AT&T's Mobile TV service. It's a a quad-band GSM/EDGE and dual-band 850/1900 HSDPA 3G-enabled device.

Currently, this LG mobile phone is the smallest US mobile device that offers mobile TV support. It measures about 4 inches tall, 2 inches wide and less than one-half an inch thick making a great choice for users who do not want to carry a bulky mobile TV phone.

AT&T offers major college football games on CBS Mobile, ESPN Mobile TV, FOX Mobile and NBC2GO on the new LG Invision. Let's look at AT&T's mobile TV services. The wireless network provider currently offers three mobile TV packages.

The first is Mobile TV Basic which offers includes unlimited access to all Mobile TV channels and charges $15 per month. Then there's the cheaper Mobile TV Basic Limited for $13 per month which provides access to four Mobile TV channels: CBS Mobile, FOX Mobile, NBC 2Go and NBC News2Go. Finally, there's Mobile TV Plus which is offered for $30 per month and includes unlimited access to all Mobile TV channels, unlimited Media Net and unlimited CV mobile video.

Let's get back to the new LG Invision mobile TV phone. Customers can now get the LG Invision at all AT&T retail stores and online. it's being offered for $99 with new two-year agreement. Here are the key features and capabilities of this new cellphone:

Verizon Wireless Launches 3 Hot New LG Phones

Here's some awesome news for Verizon subscribers and LG mobile phone fans. LG and Verizxon Wireless just announced that three new LG handsets will now be part of the wireless network's summer lineup.

Here's a statement from Mike Lanman, vice president and chief marketing officer for Verizon Wireless, to warm things up,
“These summer phones join our other popular LG phones – the enV2, the Voyager and the Venus – to offer our customers an array of applications, downloadable games, music and other content that is unparalleled in its variety and ability to enhance customers’ lifestyles. By unveiling these devices now, we are giving our customers the opportunity to choose the device that’s right for them, backed by the most reliable wireless network in the nation.”

I think that's perfect introduction for these hot and new LG cell phones. Let explore the details on these upcoming Verizon Wireless handsets.

Let's begin with the LG Dare. This new mobile phone seems to be the flagship for these batch. This is candy bar mobile phone that offers a touchscreen and sports a 3.2 megapixel camera with improved video recording capabilities. Customers will be able to enjoy photo editing software and direct access to social networking sites with the LG Dare. This handset will use to Verizon's EVDO network and V CAST services.

Well, that's about it. This seems like a short description but LG and the wireless network operator weren't keen on providing more details. They simply said that additional information on the LG Dare will be available later this month. Maybe the launch dates will be included in that announcement. Anyway, I'm sure that the LG Dare will offer much more. I guess we'll just have to move on to the next device.

The next upcoming Verizon Wireless mobile phone is the LG Decoy. What's special with this phone? Well, the LG Decoy offers a built-in, removable Bluetooth headset that is incorporated into the phone's design. When the headset is stored on the phone, it will will charge. This next mobile phone from LG also offers a five-way joystick for navigation, and incorporated GPS. Customers can start purchasing it the wireless network operator's stores on June 16.

Let wrap it up with the LG Chocolate 3, the third device in the upcoming LG phones for Verizon. The LG Chocolate 3 is the latest version of LG's music-centric phone. This version made a switch from a slider to a clamshell handset. This means that the music control wheel has been relocated to the outside of the phone. Users will be able to access the wheel when the phone is closed.

The LG Chocolate 3 will also offer a 2 megapixel camera, an FM transmitter, stereo speakers, and 1GB of internal memory. The device will also also support microSD cards up to 8GB in size.This LG device for Verizon will hit the shelves in July.
